The desire to find a solution to relieve pain of one’s mother, who suffered over 5 years with an open wound caused by a venous leg ulcer (VLU).
Unhappy with the lack of effective results, his son, a newly retired university Professor with scientific and technological knowledge in microbiology and cellulose, João Carlos Moreschi, decided to seek for a solution.
After three years of intensive research, Membracel, the Regenerative Membrane was born and Professor Moreschi became one of the partners.
